Our history and the product range
For almost 70 years now, we have been developing and producing customer-specific transformers and winding components.
MP was established in 1996 as a result of the merger of Gerhard Möller Transformatoren- und Gerätebau GmbH, which is primarily concerned with the development and manufacture of transformers (single- and three-phase, chokes, air-core coils, ferrites), and Walter Preussler Transformatoren GmbH, whose speciality is the development and manufacture of variable toroidal transformers (single- and three-phase, power regulators, voltage stabilisers, energy-saving systems and customer-oriented solutions).
Both production areas are characterised in their market segments by customer proximity and flexibility. The merger laid the foundation for continuous growth in the respective market segments.
The company initially operated under the name Möller-Preussler Transformatoren GmbH and was renamed MP GmbH at the beginning of 2020 as part of a strategic realignment.

MP uses the latest standards for project planning and modelling, so that dimensional drawings, circuit diagrams and 3D models can be made available to the customer at any time if required
